Non-EU (Switzerland, UK, USA): Taxes, Customs and Order Limit

Is German VAT deducted for non-EU orders?

Yes, for delivery addresses outside the EU, German VAT is generally deducted automatically at checkout.

Do I have to pay customs duties or import charges?

If the delivery is made to a non-EU country, additional customs, taxes or fees may have to be paid by the customer to the responsible authorities. You are advised to inquire about the details with customs or tax authorities in your country before ordering. We are sorry to say that we have no control over these costs, and also cannot give you any detailed information on what the costs will be, as custom policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. Please be aware that your parcel can be delayed by customs and for this reason additional charges can be applied. We apologize for any inconveniences.

Is there an order limit outside the EU?

Yes, for delivery addresses outside the EU, orders may be limited to a goods value of EUR 1,000 per order.

For orders with a goods value exceeding EUR 1,000, we kindly ask you to place a second order.

Withdrawal, Returns & Exchanges

Can I withdraw from my order?

For delivery addresses within the EU, consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Details can be found in our Refund Policy.

For delivery addresses outside the EU (for example Switzerland, UK, USA), returns are not possible. In such cases, a right of withdrawal is excluded unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise. Your statutory warranty rights (for example in the case of defects) remain unaffected.

How do I register a return?

For EU returns, please email us briefly at sales@ttstories.com. We will then help you with the next steps.

Who bears the return costs?

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods (see Refund Policy; EU returns).

Is an exchange possible?

As a rule, we do not offer direct exchanges. Please return the item under your right of withdrawal and place a new order for the desired size/variant (subject to availability).

Does this also apply to discounted items (sale/discount)?

Statutory rights (withdrawal, warranty) also apply to discounted items. As a rule, we do not offer voluntary exchanges for discounted goods.

Returns from non-EU countries

For delivery addresses outside the EU (for example Switzerland, UK, USA), returns are not possible. In such cases, a right of withdrawal is excluded unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise. Your statutory warranty rights (for example in the case of defects) remain unaffected.

What happens if I refuse acceptance or fail to collect the parcel?

Please do not refuse acceptance. If a shipment is returned to us because acceptance is refused or because it is not collected, additional costs may arise (for example return shipping costs, handling fees, and, where applicable, customs costs). To the extent legally permissible, we may deduct these costs from the refund amount or charge them separately.
